| Solved my problem. Have same pajero io 1999, 5 drs, automatic. Motor made ticking sound for 2 years. Then I bought some motor flush, flushed motor just before doing oil change, and using only synthetic oil now. Annoying sound is gone now. ps: Mechanics told me not to use motor flush, so maybe u can just start by putting some thinner synthetic oil. |
