Renault Clio Rip Curl

Renault has partnered with surf and activity clothing specialist Rip Curl to introduce new Clio Rip Curl special edition, targeting the younger, lower priced end of the market.

Available in three and five-door versions, with two engine choices, the 1.2 16V 75 and the 1.5 dCi 68, the petrol three-door is priced at ??9595 whilst the five-door is ??10,265. The diesel three-door is ??10,595 with the five-door priced at ??11,265.

The new Clio Rip Curl is based on the best-selling Dynamique trim, but adds new features such as the ocean inspired the body colour of Ice Blue, a 2x15W radio CD MP3 compatible player with two speakers, and specific Rip Curl graphics on the outside and interior.

The model features equipment specially tailored for beach or piste, such as special front rubber mats and rigid rubber bootspace protector with compartment tray, which also comes as standard as part of the special Rip Curl pack. Clio Rip Curl is also offered with five option packs including the City Pack Plus which at ??1200 includes automatic lights and automatic windscreen wipers, parking proximity sensors and Carminat "Turn by Turn" satellite navigation system.

Clio Rip Curl marks the beginning of a long-term commitment between Renault and Rip Curl. As part of the partnership, Renault will join Rip Curl in supporting surfing in Europe and protecting sensitive areas where the sport takes place (Rip Curl Planet Project).
