Renault joins with Rip Curl in Clio style statement

Surfersvillage Global Surf News , 1 June, 2007 : - - Renault has lined up with renowned surf and activity clothing specialist Rip Curl to introduce new Clio Rip Curl special edition model. Clio Rip Curl is targeting the younger, lower priced end of the market with a dynamic, well-equipped car that is economical to run.

Renault has teamed up with sports gear company Rip Curl to add youth and style to the Clio model. Prices start at ?16,400 before delivery charges. Available in three and five-door versions, with the 1.2 16V 75bhp petrol engine, the petrol three door version is priced at a highly competitive ?16,400 whilst the five-door is only ?16,750.

The new Clio Rip Curl benefits from a stylish and sporty exterior. Rip Curl has also added its own trademark styling to the Clio to produce a special edition with new features such as the ocean inspired the body colour of Iceberg Blue.

The Clio Rip Curl is well suited to younger drivers with music, style and fun at the top of its design agenda. A 4x15W radio CD MP3 compatible player with four speakers, two tweeters and fingertip remote controls with multi-function TunePoint is a standard feature.

The TunePoint's anchorage connection point is concealed in the glove box and allows MP3 players to be plugged in. In the case of iPods and USB Storage devices, tracks can be selected using the steering wheel stereo controls.
