2005 Toyota Mark X engine check light came on problems

| Problems: | Engine check light came on. I then disconnected the battery. connected it again. started the motor, no check-light. but , when I accelerated the motor a little bit it came on again. when facing the motor from front , on drivers side (right hand drive ) there is a noise coming from something that has a hose connected to it as well as some sort of electrical plug. |
