Toyota HiLux Pickup, 2001, 3L diesel

Hello everybody

Toyota HiLux Pickup, 2001,
3L diesel engine without turbocharger, 111 000 km.


Upon arrival of hard frost, I had problems with engine start. Problems were mainly caused by summer diesel. I drained tank off, refueled the car with winter diesel, replaced fuel filter,and drove car to parking lot without any problem.

The next day it was almost the same minus 8-10 C and the engine failed to start. I checked fuel filter and condition of diesel, they are all okey.

I suppose that problem is either with fuel pump or, which is worse, with diesel injector apparatus

Can anybody advice whether I am right in my suppositions or advice what to do otherwise?
