Renault V6 dCi Concept: exceptional performance and supreme driving pleasure
Unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, Renault V6 dCi Concept offers a foretaste of the new generation of 3.0-litre V6 diesel engines designed for the brand??™s high end vehicles. Developed within the Renault-Nissan Alliance, V6 dCi Concept demonstrates Renault??™s determination to extend its line-up of engines with a product which is both highperformance and refined. Totally dedicated to driving pleasure, it develops an outstanding power output of 195kW, a wide range of engine speeds peaking at 5,200rpm and a punchy maximum torque of 550Nm at 1,750rpm. The engine has also been developed to set a new standard in terms of acoustic comfort.
By fitting V6 dCi Concept with a particulate filter and a nitrogen oxide processing system (NOx trap), Renault combines high performance with respect for the environment. In fact, V6 dCi Concept complies with Euro VI and US standards.
V6 dCi Concept is combined with a Proactive, automatic 6-speed gearbox.
Four-wheel Active Drive chassis: intense pleasure and unqualified efficiency
Renault will unveil a sneak preview of its four-wheel Active Drive chassis to visitors to the Frankfurt Motor Show. This brand new technology, jointly developed by Renault and Renault Sport Technologies on New Laguna, affords greater manoeuvrability, energy and handling precision for the ultimate in driving pleasure.
