HELP Opel Calais 1997 2.6

Hi over here in New Zealand its known as a Holden calais its a 2.6 1997 I am having problems with it its been in a workshop for a week has anyone got a manual or info on this car the problem seems to be in the ignition system but the machanic doesnt want to touch it without data on it Please Help
