Amp Problems in 05 altima

Okay well My setup is pretty basic. I have the amp grounded out to a bare metal hole i drilled in the trunk, And im using the high output harness. So the amp is only hooked up to one clarion speaker in the trunk and the subs work fine. But the problem im having is that when i turn the remote bass boost up all the way the amp shuts off and shows a red light on the amp meaning, Check the ground connection, But its fine i sanded the paint off then drilled and attached it. What else needs to be grounded, I have an insignia 1000w amp. Thanks for any help !
