BMW to build successor model of SUV vehicle X3 in the US - report

FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Bayerische Motoren Werke AG has decided it will build the successor model of its SUV vehicle X3 at its US plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing company sources.

'The decision was made very recently,' a source was quoted as saying.

The current X3 model is being built at Graz, Austria by Magna Steyr on behalf of BMW.
