PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Renault SA said worldwide vehicle sales under the Renault, Dacia and Renault Samsung Motors brands fell 5.6 pct in March compared to a year earlier, with the sharpest drop in Europe where sales were down 9.6 pct.

In a statement, Renault said total worldwide vehicle sales for the month of March came to 236,848, a drop of 5.6 pct compared to March 2006, and continuing the trend for February when sales fell 4.6 pct.
