Honda recalls 28000 Odyssey minivans
Honda Motor Co began on Friday recalling about
28,000 Odyssey minivans in Japan because of a faulty system that controls vehicle stability. The model was not sold overseas.
The model subject to recall was produced between October 2003 and August 2004, the company said in a statement released late Thursday.
The faulty system may lead to malfunctioning of the breaks, according to the company.
There have been 16 reports of problems with the model, but no accidents, the Transport Ministry said.
