Arrow Ford, Lincoln Mercury roll out new line of incentives

DETROIT -- Ford Motor Co. on Thursday rolled out a new round of incentives for all 2007-model Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles. Customers are being offered 36-month, zero percent financing on all vehicles and $2,007 rebates on all 2007 trucks and SUVs through July 9. The Ford Edge, Ford Freestyle and Lincoln MKX crossovers, and Ford E-Series vans, are not eligible for rebates. Several 2007 models are eligible for rebates of $500 to $2,500 instead of zero-percent financing. Automakers typically offer programs like Ford's "2007 Model Year Clearance" in late summer, closer to the launch of the next year's models. Ford's U.S. sales, however, were down 12 percent for the first five months of the year from 2006 levels. ___ On the Net: http://www.ford.com
