Rizla Suzuki Ready For BikeFestUK Test

Rizla Suzuki??™s Chris Walker and Cal Crutchlow will be in action this Saturday at an official team test taking place at the inaugural BikeFestUK event at Donington Park in Derbyshire. With five rounds of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship behind them, the racers are keen to keep testing and developing their Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000s so they can compete for glory in the 13-round series. BikeFestUK is the UK??™s most interactive motorcycle event, celebrating all that is great about motorcycling, and giving visitors the chance to ride both on track, off road, and on road, on a variety of 2007 model bikes.

Hosted at the home of the British round of the MotoGP championship, Donington Park, BikeFestUK takes place on the 26th of May. It??™s all about getting on bikes and riding, and everyone who comes along will be encouraged to take part and celebrate what makes motorcycling so exhilarating, whether it's on or off road.

The event will be an action-packed day out for all the family and everyone is encouraged to come along whether they are seasoned bikers or complete novices ??“ there??™ll be plenty to get involved with for visitors of all ages and abilities.

Visitors can ride their own bikes (or selected manufacturers??™) on the world-famous Donington Park circuit, view manufacturers' displays, meet race stars, go on demonstrator ride-outs, watch stunt displays, ride off-road bikes, and buy everything bike-related from clothing and accessories to a new or used bike.

BikeFestUK also plays host to the 2007 annual Kill Spills rally, and every bike rider at Donington will be invited to take part in a massive track invasion, in an attempt to get a record breaking number of bikes on track at the same time to raise awareness for the Kill Spills campaign. KillSpills is working to prevent fatal diesel spillages on roads.

BikeFestUK is organised by special-interest media company Future, home of Fast Bikes magazine, and popular car mags Fast Car and Redline. Every year tens of thousands of car fans visit Future??™s action packed car shows including Trax and Japfest, and BikeFestUK is set to follow in their tracks.
