Arrow Dodge Avenger 500 Is A Sellout, Marks Third Consecutive Sellout ...

Darlington, S.C. (AHN)-Darlington Raceway continues to build tradition in the NASCAR ranks and a packed house will get to view the next chapter.

On Monday, the track announced that there were no more tickets left as the "Track Too Tough to Tame," has soldout it's Nextel Cup race for 2007. This is the third year in a row that Darlington has sold all 70,000-plus seats for the 367-lap event.

"We are thrilled at the continuing excitement surrounding Darlington's Mother's Day weekend race date," said Raceway president Chris Browning."The fans' enthusiasm and support has been truly overwhelming."

Saturday night will be the 106th Cup race held at the 57-year-old facilty. After the race ends, Darlington will begin a renovation project which includes a repaving of the track surface.

Greg Biffle may not want to see a repaving of the track though after Saturday night. Biffle has won the last two 500-mile races at the legendary facility.

Tickets still remain for those who wish to watch the USAC race on Thursday night and the Busch Series race on Friday night. Fans can call toll-free at 866.459.RACE, or visit www.racetickets.com to purchase seats.
