2000 Toyota Corolla diesel put in a petrol engine problems

| Problems: | At the petrol station the pump attendant put diesel instaed of petrol. I drove for a km and the car could start. What should i do? | |

| Don't start the engine till you follow these 1. Remove all the diesel in the tank ( Flush the tank with petrol if you can). 2. Get your Engine oil changed with the oil filter. 3. Clean Your throttle body / injectors & fuel lines by a certified technician. 4. Might have to replace the plugs Since you have only driven the car only for 1KM with diesel. The chances to do a overhaul is minimum. Follow the steps above & reply. |
