ABS Brakes problems 2000

| General comments: | I continue to have serious problems with my ABS brakes!. Each time i attempt to move off the brake keeps locking up and then it eventually moves. i've been told that it is the sensors that needs to be changed. Where do i locate new ABS Sensors? |

| Hi Mark. Not necessarily ABS. You don't say whether or not this problem occurrs after just releasing the handbrake.Common problem with KZJ95 is handbrake shoes sticking to the drum after they have been wet (as after washing car). Also happens if rear axle seals have been weeping onto handbrake making it tacky. When you drive off after releasing the handbrake you sometimes get a banging sound or a jolt through the vehicle. If your problem is the disc brakes and they are sticking on, disregard my advice. |

| need to go to dealership service to proceed with brake check and brake line bleeding. special brake line bleeding required or else when you apply the brakes it won't brake normally. |

| service department at toyota has the ability to bleed the system by scan tool that proceeds with procedure. but checking the requires befor bleeding. |

| hi, I have a 2000 toyota land cruiser when i turn on the ignition it give a buzzing sound from the dash. Brakes is ok, when ABS light come on the buzzing sound stop. Please i need some help on this. Thank you. |
