| General comments: | Toyota had once again released an awesome 7 seater vehicle that kinda looked like a puffed up Toyota wish but this model was better. with 188cc, the puffed wish performed better and economically, it was much better than the Noah or the Voxy. with Toyota adding a spice to it, automatic back doors which opened on a push of a button, you would be convinced, this was a brainy idea. it's performance seemed perfect with its steering not that brilliant but for a family car, you wouldn't notice the difference. it felt safe, it felt conducive to take around your family in it, through town, visit friends, its look, especially the platana edition was gorgeous. its surround system too proved that Toyota engineers had become serious in bettering their brand. attracting more buyers, winning more souls. the interior design though incomparable to the baby land rover, at least made sense to the ignorant family guy eye. the finishing was great, stepping mats better with the brand isis clearly written below, it was a college kid's dream car while still in college to carry friends after a night f partying and drinking because its capacity of 7 seats would suffice. but the car started to wilt... it stopped being the dream car but a nightmare... |
| What things have gone wrong with the car: | First, the command system was in Japanese!!!!! seriously, the Toyota engineers just lowered their mean score. not everyone comes from Japan!!! not everyone understands Japanese!!! And if they would have done customer satisfaction, they would have discovered that Africa is a major buyer of Toyota vehicles and thus they should have taken into account English or French or German, that would have gone a great mile in increasing the sales. Then, once I chucked my battery to replace it with a new one and... all hell broke loose!!! the sound system went dead!!! no more music, no more movies, no more TV in my car... I felt like the world is giving me a cold shoulder coz when on long drives, the silence is too much I even resolve to talking to my seats. just a sad story. and the worse thing is, they display the error message in Japanese for you to figure it out and I'm like... wtf is wrong with these guys ?!? They are just adding insult to injury. then the cold blow finally hit!!! that morning I woke up wanted to pick up someone from the airport and... It couldn't start!!! of all the days that's when you let me down ?!? seriously?!? the mechanics tried to figure the issue out but... nothing. Three weeks now and my dream is giving me nightmares... Toyota, next time you take my heart this way, just return it without breaking it!!! |
