Richard, the answer is simple: - REMOVE THE SPACERS, PERIOD! Its a very big mistake Kenyans do by raising cars by use of spacers. This not only makes cars unstable but also increases fuel consumption. By raising the body of the car off its suspension, you are altering so many parameters:- Handling, air resistance, CoF, Drag Coefficient e.t.c. and the gains are minimal. I have driven un-raised cars (including RAUM & Sunny - yes sunny b15 with only 130mm ground clearance) in Kenya - including very rough roads - rural central - some parts very rough indeed - without spacers and believe me you, not even the slightest damage caused, even the exhaust muffler!!! You just gotta be a little careful and all is well. The last item I will ever have on my car is a spacer. There are no gains on this device which is poorly constructed and fitted by people in Jua Kali sheds and they have never been into an Auto Mechanic Class!! Remove those things from your car and you will be okay!
