| General comments: | The lines of the 1987 300zx are absolutely beautiful and timeless A lot of people prefer the 1987 lines to the new z by far. I have over 200k miles and the engine runs perfect and passes smog always.It has being the most dependable car I ever owned and the neighbors always give me great comments.It has being a great investment/love afair. I will keep this car as long as i can as a weekend toy/driver.What a wonderful contibution far from the world of dispensable car plethora. What a wonderful experience with the T tops off in the summer.I wish that more people will get the bug of restoring and keeping them .The rewards are plenty you if you if can spare a little TLC. |
| What things have gone wrong with the car: | Nothing major . Nissan recalled all zx's back in the 90s and provided new fuel injection systems at no charge .Replaced the drive shaft and the mufler at 165k miles.The rest has being simple mentainance. Kept the automobile garaged with the original paint still in good condition all stock. |
