| General comments: | knocking sound when going over a rough patch of road, attributed by my mechanic to require a steering box change (and which is costly!) Your advice please. Are there available different shock absorbers for comfortable, firm and hard rides? Car does not climb well. Fuel consumption averages 9 km/litre in mixed city/touring drives, and 10.5 on long distance touring. Are these normal? |
| What things have gone wrong with the car: | Valve-stem oil seals hardened, changed. Power relay erratic causing engine cutting out anytime, changed and no problem thereafter. Car 'jerks' when auto-changing from normal start-up running to next gear. Gearbox valve body has been serviced to no avail. |
