General comments: | Overall I think this is one of the top three cars honda has ever made. Definitely better than Civic Si and Integra GSR. The engine is a thing of beauty. Its one of the biggest, baddest VTEC engines honda made at 2.2 litres. I got this car for a ridiculously low price for the shape it was in. Only had 26,000 miles on it and the only person that rode in it was the guy that drove it before me. He never even had anyone else sit in it besides him! It looked like a brand new car that just rolled off the assembly line. I dont see how he took such good care of it. I have added some things like a Kenwood touchscreen tv, some subs, headers, intake, catback exhaust. I take care of my stuff so my car still runs and looks like brand new and its a 97. The only bad thing is its an auto, i couldnt find a 5 speed with low miles on it for a good price so i said screw it. It still flies. I have almost 50000 miles on it with no problems. This car is no ferrari but i can hang with cars that have much bigger engines aka v-8 gas guzzlers but dont expect to beat em. I like showing civics accord and integras whose boss though. |
What things have gone wrong with the car: | low end torque rattling for headliner shock knock in the rear ugly plastic on bottom if you dont have factory body kit. no fifth gear on auto tranny ride can get choppy on rough roads |
Previous car: | 96 honda civic(great 1st car), 96 ford mustang(pos) |
