Bad engine only 44,000 Miles 2006

| General comments: | we bought a used 2006 stratus in 2007 with 28,000 miles on it. The car in 5 years now only has 44.000 miles. 3 times since January 2010, the crank seal has blown. My mechanic has talked with chrysler mechanics and they have told him that a design flaw causes too much play in the crank shaft, and basically, the motor has to be replaced. I am now fighting with chrysler over this because i don't think i should be paying for a motor for a 44.000 mile car, especially if it is due to thier design flaw. I don't hold out much hope though. |
