2000 Volvo S40 miss fire after washing engin problems

| Problems: | I have washed my car, including the engin bay. Now the car keeps on missfiring. I took off plastic part that covers the sparkpluggs. Second plug was almost covered in water. I dried it out, sprayed a moisture displacing flued but still have the same problem. I wanted to sell the car but cant take it to the car dealer like this. | |
