| Problems: | I owned a 2005 MkV 6 speed 2 litre TDI for 9 years, purchased new. In this time I has clocked up 232,00km. I found that every 80,000km ,like clockwork, the turbo would fail, requiring replacement. When it Dirac failed at 80,000km, it was covered by extended warranty . Whrn it failed again at 160,000km, it was not. Before trading it in with 232,000km on it, I could hear the ominous whistle of a failing turbo, so made sure to get rid of it before the next expected failure at 240,000km |
