2000 Mitsubishi Pajero iO engine check light flashing during idleling problems in Uganda

| Problems: | When i insert ignition key and start the car, engine check light starts flashing. When vehicle starts to move, flashing light goes off until i stop while engine idleling and flashinh begins. No loss of engine power though. I noticed this 5days ago. what is causr and any recommendations for possible remedy? That will be appreciated. |

| I heard a sound clicking near the engine and not long after that, the engine lamp would come on and the engine begin to loss power and not able to move. |
