How are you.Have you tried replacing your plugs with the platinum double plugs.d4 engines require esp Nadia, Corona use those ones although the convectional ones can still work. They are very expensive though

Hi

I use the same car. Change your fuel pump on the D4 engine. That is usually the problem

Hi

After changing my fuel pump the car started running well for about two years. The same problem started again, but in a different way this time. The car was not able to start after a hot day drive, until it cools down. I have noticed that this problem is caused by Ignition amplifier which over heat. Inside the Ignition amplifier , they is a Toyota ship, and this chip uses the metal housing of Ignition amplifier as its heat sink. Once the car is very hot, this cheap gets to its maximum operating temperature and it cuts off. This is why the car cant start until it cools down.

This problem is in the fuel injection system they have used on this D4 engine. What you need to do to solve this problem is to get a small fan, which runs on 12volts, and connect it near the Ignition amplifier housing to provide internal cooling for the chip. This must be connected in such a way that it runs all the time once the car starts. If your fan is good enough this will solve your problem. The built in cooling system is mainly for the engine not for anything else inside.

I hope this plan, will help you

cutting off at low speed is usually associated with plus and or coil packs . their malfunction also cause the car to 'shiver'
