You could have a faulty door switch or other switchs that are not working as they should.
Start with the simple stuff first...check that all switchs are engauged(pushed inward with doors/boot and bonnet closed.(try this be holding in and activating alarm).
Is your interior light going off after a short time or is it staying on?-as staying on culd cause a voltage drop big enough to set off alarm.(it should go off after 10-15 seconds approx).
The green led would not draw enough current to trigger alarm -but I have had a case where the owner left their phone on its charger and this was enough to set alarm off.
This is because the charger draws more than 3.5 volts

The only other thing it may be is that somewere in your car something is drawing power ...Are you able to do an amps draw test(Do you know how to do this?..using an Amp Meter).
Some car alarms allow you to turn off siren(horn)by turning a key on the siren body.
This may stop sound but not solve the problem.
Finaly some systems have a back up battery(this is to allow alarm to work even if battery is taken out) and if this is faulty it may be sending a trouble code to your alarm controller.
Hope you get this shorted.
take care
James.
