2008 Toyota Mark X battery change problems

Problems: | My mark x was very quick on acceleration and after a battery change the acceleration is not like it was .I think the ecu or computer was set to sport mode and when the battery terminals were disconnected it lost a code or something.How do i get the acceleration back? |

you need to remap your cars ecu. when they have a battery chamge all mark xs go into limp mode. so with fresh battery. start car and leave for 15mins. turn off and leave for 15min. turn back on 15mins. then after that take it for a drive for atleast 20 to 30mins. with very soft\easy accel on the pedal so the ecu can adjust and remember throttlebodys location. drive home turn off. wait 15 mins again. and car is complete and ready to be given all ya got |

hello, after i remap my toyota mark x , I wanted to remove the limit speed, after remap it, the car is discharging the battery.. i put new batterym when the ignition is switched off, the ECU is still making noise(is working) with ignition of.... what should i do? |
