Problems:hi i have a 93 surf and have put endless amounts of money into it over the years in repairs. now i have a new problem that is even stumping the mechanics and electricians......
the truck was fresh outa the shop after a service etc and running great for a week or so. i was driving on the beach and when on the road later that day the engine light and otyher lights came on. the engine stopped running and i rolled to a stop. the garage checked diesel pump, put new alternator, starter, computer into it. got electrician to look at it etc. i get it back and it runs great for 1 day, same thing happens. they bring it to diagnostic garage- they can find any problems.
they owner of garage drives it for 2 weeks everyday and all is good. i collect it on friday and 200mtrs up the road -looses power, engine off, as before.
the truck will not start after it cuts out, but after been left for a day or so it starts again sweet as.

PLEASE PLEASE have you any ideas what the problem could be. im truckless and paying for all these repairs that are not the problem,

thank you for your time
ANDY

hello,it almost sounds like a grounding problem.even change battery if not check ground on the engine block or any kind of grounding along the frame.it is like if you run it till it gets a little warm or movement and stalls till the ground cools down or settles it will start.rick from thunder bay ontario canada.good luck.
