Problems:The vehicle, Toyota harrier, 1MCU015, 6 cylinder is all okay, but Very bad powers lose when going up steep slopes/hills and sometimes on very straight roads
and very high consumptions of petrol. What will be the real trouble shooting to these.

You probably need to change ATF oil for gearbox. Will enable your fears to engage faster as it does NOW.

I have a 2000 Toyota harrier here in Maputo, Mozambique and it is running very well. People don't realize they have to change the ATF (automatic transmission fluid) .
I change mine every year. Have you checked MAF/Oxygen sensors? I remove these items and clean them. Car computer gets signal from these items to run the efficiently !

1. I have a problem with door locks both for driver and passenger side. It only opens the boot. Boot ..l mean the back door for storing bags, etc
I'm afraid the keys I'm using are second hand. Can that be a reason.
