| I have a toyota harrıer 240 G 2006. Everytime i excede 20km/h the central locking system automatically looks all doors, but when i come to a complete stop the central locking system does not automatically unlock the doors. I have must manually unlock the doors myself. How can i fix the problem so the doors unlock its self automatically? Can you please help me thank you. |

| I think this is not a problem its a safety feature. The driver is normally always in the car when in motion and when it stops . The driver can open all doors automatically by flicking the driver side door locking switch this opens all doors. With the prevailing incidences of car jacking etc in some countries the doors unlocking automatically when the car stops is not so safe on the driver or passengers. That is my own opinion maybe the manufacturers can shed more light to this issue. You are safer when the doors are locked even in case the car rolls you are kept inside the car and not thrown out the door. maybe an auto electrician can be consulted to modify this safety feature. |
