| General comments: | i really need a solution to this problem because as far as i know a corolla should not consume so much fuel, one mechanic once said it could be because of its fuel pump which might be delivering more than it should to the engine. i bought the car havibg done 114000kms. | |
| Problems: | I bought my corolla as a second hand japannes car in june this year. the main problem i have with it is that it consumes so much fuel as if it is a car with a big engine. the engine capacity is 1500cc, 5 speed manual transmission. normally for a corolla when it is full tank, you can travel 200kms and consumes only a quarter of your fuel, but with my corolla it is not the case, it consumes half of the fuel and when i reach my destination it is on half tank after 200kms! | |
