2001 Toyota Cami noise coming from engine problems

| Problems: | noise is coming from the front of my engine it sounds like tapets but they are not .when ever you start the engine there is always that irritation coming. could it be very dangerous it has a timing chain and it a KE engine. |

| I had similar problem with my CAMI. The noise came when I started the car. I had to turn off the air con to put the noise down. What I noticed is the engine had only 1 belt. It is the only belt need to run the car. If you continue to ignore the problem you will definitely spoil it. Check the numbers on the belt and check with any spare part shop near you. |
