Problems:	Battery went flat tried to jump start off a mini max. Didn't work first time then started car.now the windows don't work and the Japanese stereo does not work .it Jst gives me the home screen with no options.
Previous car:	Mazda cx7 turbo.

Reason for the problem:- When your battery went dead, the internal computing system went of, hence messing with the memory. At this point it has to reset, but it can only do that with a little help from you.

Solution: - Get someone to help you initiate the reset process. Here's how. Open both front and back doors of either the left side or the right side of the vehicle while the engine is still running. Get your helper to press the roll up window button of the back window while you simultaneously do the same, at the same time for window your helper is trying to roll up. Both of you should hold the roll up window button for five seconds then release. Now you will realise the roll up or down window issue would have been solved by doing this for all windows, VoilÃ ! You have control again. You can now close the doors and let the car continue running for it to reprogram again to it's previous settings. The radio will also reset and work normally once again.
Tip : -- Buy a new battery from a reputable dealer in your country. Hope this helps.
