| Hi Peter I live in Windhoek, Namibia. I also have the same 1991 Suzuki Escudo. The maximum speed limit in Japan is 100km/h and the beeping sound serves as a warning that you are exceeding the speed limit.It's not an alarm system.I searched this devise without any success,but probably only a good auto electrician can locate it, other than that I got used to the beeping sound over the 10 years that I own this reliable escudo.
