General comments: | This is the first time I have had this kind of problem. The car model is a 1.8 GL I thought it might be the fuel pump or fuel filter. I have no idea where these are located. Can you help. Thank you
Problems: | The engine starts to cut out when the accelorator is pressed unable to get up a hill. although the engine runs ok in neutral or park when petrol is applied. Even driving on a flat road I can only get to about 40klm hour it then starts to cut out if petrol is applied

Get your carburetor system checked, for there is a difference in air to gas balance, or the spark plugs failing, or the point gap is not correct and will close at high raves or advanced timing. |
