1997 Subaru Forester battery died, car won't boost but alarm sounds when hooked up to another battery problems

| Problems: | Battery died four days ago, initially car was able to be boosted but eventually battery died again. When I hook the battery up to be charged again, the dashboard lights come on and alarm sounds but car wont start. |
