| I have a problem with my Vehicle which is a mitsubishi Pajero io GDI turbo. The idling is low. I have also noticed that whenever i refuel the idling goes down. Also when the engine heats up that problem persists. What is the cause? |

| mine was a nightmare to diagnose, but after thousands spent (yes thousands) I replaced part number MR560127 being the fuel rail pressure sensor, immediate idle issue gone, power up hills and way better economy. You still need to do the decoke and clean of intake, blank EGR port into manifold to stop build up again (does NOT cause any warning issues / engine lights) leave it connected just blanked off. Replace coil packs with NEW high quality units and twin electrode spark plugs. Replace High pressure filter (About $1) and if high Kms in tank filter and pump (You will likely need to modify another filter which involves drilling a 1/8 hole and clearing a blanked female connector (Where hole needs to be drilled) IF you have a Japanese market vehicle. The MR560127 fuel rail sensor does not bring up any error codes but you may find you get an engine warning light coming on and off intermittently. The failing sensor causes high fuel consumption, erratic idle, smell of unburnt fuel around car and rough gear change (manual vehicle). If you have ANY of these symptoms just replace the sensor (around $40) and you will be a happy camper! - ENJOY. P/S - THE OIL AROUND THE PLUGS REQUIRES CAM COVER REMOVAL AND GASKET REPLACED, IF IT IS WET IN PLUG AREA (OIL) YOU HAVE TO DO IT OTHERWISE YOUR COILPACKS WILL CRAP OUT. NO OTHER WAY IM AFRAID. ALI EXPRESS HAS A CHEAP GASKET SET FOR DOHC 4G93 / 94 ENGINES. :-) |
