| Problems: | car starts, no problem. when i want to pull away revs drop to 0 and car does not want to go. if I rev the car to over 2000 rpm or more it goes well. once driving the car runs like a dream. | |

| extremely hard to start when cold. after started runs ok and will keep starting ok .. replaced cold start switch to no availe not sure if it electrical, mechanical or both |

| HAD THE SAME PROBLEM CHECK ALTENATOR AND AIRFILTER. ALSO THOUGHT IT WAS MY STERTER(REPLACED) THEN ALL FILTERS(REPLASED) THEN THEY SAID COLD START(TO EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE) AND FOUND THAT IT WAS THE ALTENATOR NOT FEEDING THE BATTERY THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF AMPS/WATS(ONE OF THOSE 2) FIXED THE ALTENATOR NOW STARTS EASY COLD OR NOT AND NO PROBLEMS |

| My Kar struggles to start,the battery light stays on on the dash board, after trying to start it for about 5 minutes it will start. Sometimes it cuts out while I am driving very slow (10km/h) or when my car is idling. then I struggle to start it agian. Somedays it starts fine. Renault Megane 2, 1.6L 16V. I replaced the battery and all 4 coils. ANy advise? |
