| Problems: | is is an AT vehicle. When I put the gear to D at times it fails to move fast even when you acclerate it. At times it is fine. When that happens, the o/d drive light on the dash board blicks even when you put it on. Also when you engage reverse gear, you hear unusual sound like a heavy metal has hit the engine. | |

| My vehicle Toyota Harrier 1MZ engine has an automatic gear box that breaks while vehicle is in motion. As i drive from about 40km/h going upwards gear box intermittently breaks like an engine break of a truck except it doesn't make noise like that of truck. What could be the problem? Why should an automatic gearbox be breaking when vehicle is moving at a certain speed? Please help as i use the vehicle on not less than 500km every after two weeks. |
