2003 Opel Astra idle fluctuating problems

Problems:The vehicle idle fluctuates a lot. Have to switch the AC on to increase the idle when at a stop or else the vehicle cuts off.

Have you looked at your Idle Control Valve?
This is what controls your engine idle revs when you release your foot off the gas.

But beware that it could be other sensors as well that is effecting this parts ability to not know what to do. You should have a look at your ecu fault codes to narrow it down to the main cause.
