| General comments: | I've lost confidence in driving the car having been caught several times in traffic. The mechanics have been unsuccessful so far in solving the problem. | |
| Problems: | Car 'dies' periodically only when aircon. is turned on. Not good happening in traffic! Schofield Nissan @ Botany have tried every test including installing a new alternator (made no difference)changed the computer(problem still happening) and had the aircon. system thoroughly checked out. Mechanically the car drives well. 2004 model with a low mileage of 58,000kms which I've driven for over 5 years with no problems. It seems to be a complete mystery to what is causing the motor to lose power and stop. If I turn off the motor and aircon. and wait awhile it will start again. | |
