Hi Guys,

Just saw this site, I hope I can still help. The Elgrand has only one electrical problem and it's the cranksahft position sensor. It is located below the water pump, secured by one bolt. The wires of this sensor is very sensitive that even if you move it a bit or if it gets heated up by the engine, your rev would play up and down. Check that your alternator belt is tensioned well because if it's loose, it hits the the sensor wires. Try insulating the sensor wire with corrugated hose and secure it well, away from the belt. Make sure that alternator belt is tensioned well. The blinking light in your dashboard is the "check engine" indicator. If you're stuck remotely and this happens, just move the crankshaft sensor wire a bit until that rev becomes stable.

Have your mass airflow sensor checked. It may be dirty or defective. That is the cause of the van running slow..
