General comments:the car is a lancer Ck4 4g92 1997
Problems:the engine stalled after overheating later the piston and valve were found to be broken.what could have caused the piston and valve to break.

When engine overheat for a long time. Oil lubrication on cylinder was burnt dry that result of stuckup piston and intake/exhaust valve unable to move freely. This will cause breakdown of connecting rod and valves, cylinder heads and piston.

Install Temperature gauge with overheat alarm to avoid this problem.
