| General comments: | This is a 4 cylinder sohc engine Phil market. | |
| Problems: | Hard starting, unstable idle, Bogging throttle response. When stepping on the gas pedal the rpm goes down to 400, even if you step on it gradually. And also weak yellow spark from the igniter. | |

| Hi Gino did you ever fix your problem? I had the same issue first make sure the GDI is updated with service; spark plugs - use Iridium NGK performs better with these, oil, and important fuel cleaner. Sometimes we forget this alot. If the problem persists do an engine wash first ensure this is professionally done as this has previously messed my speed sensor as it was done by a quack. Then finally service you fuel pump start with the one in the front this should fix your problem. Time to time use high octane fuel on the car like once a week, I use Shell V-Power all the time and the problem has never come back. Hola if you need any clarification! |

| I forgot to mention one very problematic element, do a thorough clean up of the MAF or Throttle body shown above, the are tonnes of videos that show how to do it.. happy FIY. |
