2000 Mitsubishi Freeca no pwer up when reving problems

| General comments: | fuel pump might give excess gas to common rail?? | |
| Problems: | when we are goin to pullout our freeca....there is power on rev..but when are travel bout 15kms the power of the car is malfuntioning...and then we pull over for a while...we stop the engine...then a couple of minutes ....we leave after while suddenly the performance of the car became good...we started to smell gasoline...and then we full over we check the engine we find out the the hose of the fuel line gion to common rail had a leak and then we fix the hose...after we fix the gas hose line....we roll..then it came again...low power engine...is there a problem with the fuel pump???.because on my own i think the fuel pump gave more gas ????so the engine might be choked....fyi..the fuel pump is new...what can u say about this???.txn | |
