| General comments: | Before his problem the car was performing much better | |
| Problems: | I lost the ignition key for the car, I removed the ignition switch to have another key made. I tried to start the car without the top part of the ignition switch system but refused to start. After sometime I found the lost ignition switch key but It refused to start. What can I do to get it start again? | |

| The starter has failed. The engine gets too hot. When I suddently switched off after running the engine for long, the starter failed. The thermostat was removed by a mechanic. Please give guidelines to fix. Car is toyota duet. |
