1996 Isuzu Bighorn gear box check light on and vehicle does not move when on drive problems

| General comments: | I have this car for about 10 years already and it is the first time I encounter this problem. | |
| Problems: | I have a 1996 Bighorn , with 3.1 diesel engine and automatic gearbox. Since yesterday the car cannot pull up when on Drive once the engine get warm(driving a distance). And the check gearbox red light is on. When the engine cools down the car goes pull up without problems. We have changed the ATF oil and strainer yesterday evening in order to resolve the problem; but this morning it gives me the same problem. What can be the problem and what can be done about it. Is it a mechanical or electrical problem?; will a scan help in finding the cause of the problem? | |

| I own a car isuzu gemini model 1992 auto transmision some days back when i put it in driving mode it dos,t move so i went to local mechnic he told me that it hase a problim in gear box so pleas guid me what to do |
