Year:2008
Modification:2.0 TXE
General comments:The car is however still great value for money.
Problems:This car is still under warranty and has had its whole left side shaft replaced as a spline on the side shaft was missing, leading to it losing gearbox oil. I have just realised that it is still doing it? Why has the leak re-occurred with a whole factory replaced new side shaft, oil seals etc.? Also on occasion, the low oil pressure light and alarm sounds on startup. Switching the car off and on will let the alarm go away immediately. Also increasing revs to 1050 rpm makes the alarm go away. It never comes on during driving, only on cold starts. The photo's show the place the leak occurs- where the side shaft is linked to the gearbox.

Possible spilage. Clean the area up. Tighten all nuts and bolts. let the car sit for 15min...check under the car for leakage see where its coming from. No Leak then go for a road test for 5 to 10min..then recheck see if still leaks. if it does u shld be able to tell were its coming from.
