The Blazer has the option of 3 or 5 doors as well as 2 or 4 wheel drive. All Blazers are powered by a 4.3-liter pushrod 12-valve V-6 with 190 hp and choice of a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

1997 Chevrolet Blazer specs

The Chevrolet K5 Blazer' and GMC 1500 Jimmy names were used on two different early (full sized) SUV models. The names "Blazer" and "Jimmy" were also used on other smaller model SUVs produced by General Motors.
